How to increase your Self Confidence?

At the time of interview or while speaking on any stage, the hands and feet of many people swell because they do not believe in themselves. No matter how much knowledge you have, but if you do not have confidence, then your knowledge is nothing for you.



Many times you get a chance to prove your ability and if your confidence is shaken at that time then you have to back down. Due to the lack of confidence, there is a negative effect on our personality. Many a times, due to lack of confidence, we miss out on many big possibilities that come. If you see a successful man around you or on any occasion, then you must have noted that you will see complete confidence in that man. Any person who reaches or becomes successful in his life is always full of confidence. Many actors and actresses, politicians, great cricketers, or a businessman all have the quality of self-confidence.

If a person achieves success despite being physically and mentally unwell, then its main reason is the confidence of that person. It was because of self confidence that Abraham Lincoln became the President of America after losing the election many times, his success was due to confidence. Similarly, if you look around you, you will also find many examples.

A successful person has complete faith in himself, due to which he definitely achieves success. Confidence can be more or less in a person, but you should try your best to increase self confidence in yourself. If you bring these changes in your thinking to keep your confidence strong and make your personality effective, then success will surely kiss your feet.

1) Dress yourself like a successful logo:

You must have met many such people in your life, seeing that you must have felt that this person is full of confidence. Those special things of those people must be noted which increase their confidence. For example, pay attention to the way of walking and sitting, do not speak in a suppressed voice what you have to say and make eye contact while talking etc.


2) Remember your achievements in the past:

You must have got many achievements in your past. Example- You must have come first in your class, will have highest marks in school in any subject, must have done best in any competition or must have won a title in any sports. When your confidence in yourself is low, then at that time you should remember your past achievements, it will definitely improve your self-confidence.


3) Feel that you are confident:

Many times we feel low confidence just because we feel that I do not have confidence which further lowers our confidence, then you should not think completely negative at any time, rather think that you are completely full-confidence. You can imagine in your mind that everyone is praising you. They are getting attracted towards you. Thinking like this will give you a lot of benefit.


4) Don't panic when mistakes happen:

If a person tells you that he has never made any mistake in his life, then you understand that that person is lying to you. Only a person makes a mistake. When he makes a mistake, then he learns from that mistake and next time he does that work better. The biggest mistake we make is when we do not do any work just because of the thinking that I will not do this work or I will make some mistake and because of this thinking we do not make any effort which is very harmful for us. So don't miss out on your best opportunities because of the fear of making a mistake or the fear of failing. Rather try it, it will give you new learning.


5) Make yourself better than others in something:

In today's era, every man wants to do something different from others. God has given us such a special talent which separates us from other people, just need to find it. No man can become an expert in every field, but he can definitely become an expert in some things of his hobby and interest.


6) Help the needy:

Do something good for those people in your life who can't give you anything in return. If you help other people, it will increase your confidence. The happiness you will get by helping people in your neighborhood and by giving some support to a poor person and helping physically disabled people, you cannot get anywhere else and it will also create a self-respect in you.


7) Improve your dressing:

If you go to any kind of program, party, wedding or any meeting, then definitely take care of your dress. Whenever you go to buy clothes, buy such clothes which give you confidence. You must always note that when you are well prepared and when your dressing is good, then you will find yourself full of confidence because it gives us the confidence to face the people.


8) Keep doing the thing that lowers your confidence:

There are many people who lower their self-confidence due to some particular reason. If someone is afraid during the presentation, then someone is afraid to come on stage. There are many people whose heart wants to do this work, but only because of fear and what people will say, they are afraid to do that work.


9) Do not compare yourself with others:

If your confidence is low, then the main reason for this is to compare yourself with others. If you look, you will find that you always want to be like those people who are better or successful than you in your eyes. This is a big deal for you for self-confidence which makes your self-confidence completely zero. You should keep in mind that every person's situation and circumstances are different.


10) Get your work done on time:

You should make a time table of your whole day's work. Think in advance what you have to do in a day and then get busy to complete your tasks from morning itself. If you complete your works within the given time, then it will increase your confidence a lot.


The time we have in our lives will keep decreasing day by day. When we go from youth to old age, we will not know with time. Do not panic in life because of your low-confidence. Confidence is very important for success in life. Hardly any person can be successful without confidence. If you practice then you can easily boost your confidence.
